What the beta does

Alinera checks supported formatting rules against guidelines you confirm. University guides are unverified drafts with a limited stated scope. Requirements from your course, supervisor and examination regulations take priority. The tool does not assess academic quality, plagiarism or every submission requirement, and does not guarantee acceptance.

You review extracted guideline rules before using them. Keep your original thesis and inspect every corrected copy in Word, including page numbers, tables, images and contents, before submission. Only selected, supported fixes are applied. An uncertain result is not a pass.

Free checks and the proposed paid offer

Scans are free. The proposed beta price is US$29 as a one-time payment for 30 days of supported fixes, corrected copies and downloadable reports. The pass covers unlimited documents and revisions for your own use during that period. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. The price and any applicable tax shown at checkout control the purchase. These preview terms and sandbox prices are not a live offer.

Payments are processed by Polar as merchant of record, under its buyer terms. Access starts when payment is confirmed and expires after 30 days. Keep the private access link or use purchase-email recovery when available. Anyone with your access link can use the pass; do not publish or share it. Purchasing access does not store your thesis on our servers or provide cloud document backup.

Proposed refunds and access problems

For the beta, we propose a full refund on request within 7 calendar days after purchase, including when a supported fix does not work. Restore the purchase and use Help & refunds to submit the request. Save the private request/status link. A request is not an automatic refund confirmation; support processes it through Polar. Once refunded, the pass is revoked. This policy does not restrict statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights. Final checkout wording and any consent for immediate digital delivery need legal review before live sales.

If payment succeeds but access is missing, use Restore my purchase or Check payment again; do not pay twice. Temporary service failures can occur. We aim to acknowledge support requests within two business days; this is a service target, not a guaranteed resolution time.

Your documents and acceptable use

You keep all rights in your work. Only process documents you are entitled to use. Do not abuse the service, share purchased access publicly, attack its infrastructure or use it to process unlawful material. Your thesis and confirmed guidelines stay on your device unless you separately consent to an enabled support-file upload.

Availability and legal rights

The beta may contain errors and change over time. We may suspend access for abuse and will address affected legitimate purchases through support. Nothing in these draft terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Operator details, applicable jurisdiction, any lawful liability limits and the final purchase disclosures must be reviewed before publication as final terms.
